Nick’s experience in championing innovation, enterprise and opportunity across the West of England will be invaluable as 224 Youth Zone prepares to open its doors for thousands of young people across South Bristol. His support strengthens our mission to provide a safe, inspiring and inclusive space where young people can discover their talents, build confidence and unlock their potential.
As a Business Ambassador, Nick will play an important role in opening up career pathways for young people by helping to connect them with businesses, mentors and real-world opportunities. Through these connections, young people will gain greater insight into different industries, access employability support, develop workplace skills and be inspired to explore future careers they may never have considered possible.
224 Youth Zone is committed to supporting young people into positive pathways in education, training and employment. Alongside its wide range of activities and youth work support, the Youth Zone will provide opportunities for young people to build confidence, gain transferable skills, access mentoring and receive guidance around further education, apprenticeships and careers. By working closely with local employers, education providers and community partners, 224 Youth Zone aims to help young people raise their aspirations and take meaningful steps towards their future goals.
By bringing together the business community and youth services, 224 Youth Zone can help break down barriers to opportunity and ensure young people feel supported in building ambitious futures for themselves.
224 Youth Zone will offer access to over 20 activities, dedicated youth workers and life-changing opportunities designed to support young people’s wellbeing, aspirations and future success. Nick’s involvement is another important step in creating a strong network of support around the Youth Zone and investing in the next generation of Bristol’s young people.
