Cleaning Team
CONTRACT: Permanent
Part time 12 hours per week. This role involves regular weekend shifts.
PAY: £13.08 per hour

THE ROLE
At 224 Youth Zone, we believe that every young person deserves a safe, inspiring place to grow and thrive. The cleaning team will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment for young people, staff and visitors at 224 Youth Zone. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of cleaning duties across the building, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation are upheld at all times. This includes routine cleaning of communal areas, toilets activity rooms, all offices, as well as responding to specific cleaning needs as they arise. The role requires someone who takes pride in their work, follows health and safety procedures diligently, and contributes positively to the overall culture of the organisation. As a visible member of the team, you will also model respectful and responsible behavior, helping to promote a positive and supportive atmosphere throughout the Youth Zone.

Catering Team
CONTRACT: Catering Team Member
PAY: £13.08 per hour

THE ROLE
At 224 Youth Zone, we believe that every young person deserves a safe, inspiring place to grow and thrive. The Catering Team Members will play a vital role in delivering a friendly, safe and efficient café experience at 224 Youth Zone. Collaborating closely with the Catering Supervisor, they will help prepare and serve nutritious, low-cost food and drinks to young people aged 8-19 (up to 25 with additional needs), as well as to staff and visitors. This hands-on role supports the daily running of the kitchen and café, including food preparation, maintaining hygiene standards, customer service, and creating a welcoming space for young people. The Catering Team Members will be a positive presence within the Youth Zone, promoting healthy choices and helping to ensure the café runs smoothly and reflects the organisations inclusive and youth-focused values.
